The Department’s procurement office provides professional and technical support services to State and local government agencies; conducts central procurement of architectural and engineering services, commodities, construction, energy, and facilities maintenance. The professional procurement staff performs specialized contracting, bid/proposal administration, and bid security for all State government users except the University System of Maryland. The Business Programs Office administers the internet-based eMaryland Marketplace system, a full-service interactive procurement system, and the Homeland Security eProcurement System for First Responders.
The state’s online bid board system will be replaced this summer with a new and improved eProcurement platform – eMaryland Marketplace Advantage (eMMA). We want to make sure you are ready to transact through eMMA, so please complete our preliminary Vendor Information Questionnaire. When we launch eMMA in mid-July, you’ll receive a temporary user name and password so you can log in and complete the user profile. If you have questions, please contact email@example.com.
